As the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League gears up, Kampala Queens FC now have a full roadmap toward another push for the crown. But beyond the dates and venues, this season carries extra weight — it’s about revenge, asserting dominance, and charting new narratives.
Our season kicks off away against Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 4 PM. Kawempe claimed the league title in 2023/24 by narrowly edging out Kampala Queens FC. In fact, on the final day, the Queens fell to Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC 2–0 for them to clinch the trophy.
But Queens of Soccer responded in 2024/25: recaptured the title, finishing top in a tightly fought campaign. This opener, then, is a battle for supremacy in Kampala’s women’s football.
Interestingly, in a recent meeting at Kawempe, Queens routed them 4-1 in the valley.
Just over a week later, we return to MTN Omondi, Lugogo to welcome Makerere University WFC on Saturday, October 11 at 10 AM.
