Kampala Queens FC midfield dynamo Peace Muduwa has been named in the provisional squad of the Uganda U20 Women’s National Team (Queen Cranes) ahead of the decisive African qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026.
The Queen Cranes will take on Ghana U20 Women’s National Team in a two-legged tie scheduled between 1st–3rd May and 9th May 2026, with a historic World Cup slot hanging in the balance.
This latest call-up is not Muduwa’s first involvement with the national U20 setup—it is a continuation of a journey she has already been shaping.

She was part of the Queen Cranes squad during the earlier rounds of the ongoing qualifiers, playing a key role in Uganda’s dominant performances against Namibia and latest one against Zambia. In the return leg, Muduwa announced her presence in style, scoring the opening goal in a 2-0 victory that sealed a 5-0 aggregate win for Uganda.
Her impact was not limited to just scoring. In the same qualification campaign, she also contributed with an assist and injected energy into the team after coming on as a substitute in the first leg. Her growing influence within the national setup is evident, confirming why she remains a trusted option heading into the final stages of qualification.

Muduwa has been one of the standout performers for Kampala Queens FC in the second round of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League.
She has scored three goals and earned a Woman of the Match accolade, but beyond the numbers, her influence has been far deeper. Operating as an attacking midfielder, she has become the creative engine of the team—linking play, dictating tempo, and consistently unlocking opposition defenses.
Her intelligence on the ball and ability to operate in tight spaces have given Kampala Queens FC a unique attacking edge, particularly in crucial fixtures. One of her defining moments came in Soroti, where she orchestrated the move that led to the lone goal in a hard-fought victory against Olila High School WFC.

Muduwa’s rise has not been confined to domestic football alone. She has previously featured for Kampala Queens FC on the continental stage, gaining valuable experience in high-pressure matches. During those appearances, she showed her attacking instincts and composure, contributing to the team’s dominance in key fixtures.
Her journey has also been marked by impactful moments, from decisive goals to creative masterclasses, showing a player who is steadily maturing into a complete midfielder capable of delivering on the biggest stages.
What sets Muduwa apart is her continuous evolution. From making impactful substitute appearances to becoming a consistent starter, she has grown into a player who not only contributes goals but also shapes the rhythm and identity of the team’s attacking play. Her work rate, tactical discipline and confidence on the ball have made her an indispensable part of Kampala Queens FC.

Kampala Queens FC congratulates Peace Muduwa on this well-earned recognition and wishes her the very best as she once again dons the national colors.
Go shine, Muduwa. The journey continues.
