As the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League 2025/2026 season continues, Kampala Queens are set to face Asubo Ladies FC in their final fixture of October — Matchday 4, at the Kampala Quality Ground.
The Queens head into this clash full of confidence after a thrilling 5–2 victory over Rines SS WFC, a result that lifted them to second place on the table with seven points.
In their previous four meetings with Asubo Ladies FC, the Queens have recorded three wins and one draw, scoring 11 goals and collecting 10 points — a record that reflects their dominance and consistency in this fixture

Speaking ahead of the game, Assistant Coach Sharon Kizza expressed respect for their opponents but remained confident about her team’s preparation and focus.
“We want to welcome Asubo Ladies FC back into the league. We know it’s not an easy thing because they worked so hard to bounce back into the top league. As we go into tomorrow’s game, I believe our ladies will work hard so that we get the positive results we need. We’ve been applying our philosophy and principles, and we believe we shall achieve our goals. The team is mentally and physically strong, and we are ready to give our best.”
She also extended a heartfelt message to the fans:
“To our fans, we love you so much — you mean a lot to us because you are our 12th player. Please come and give us the support we need. Come and cheer the ladies; they’ll be happy to see you, and so will we, the technical team.”
Forward Catherine Nagadya also shared her confidence ahead of the game, emphasizing her determination to contribute to the team’s success:
“We are well prepared for tomorrow’s game. The coaches have done their part to prepare us, and we are willing to do our best to win. As a striker, I’m going to work hard so that when the coach gives me the chance to play, I can either score or assist to help the team win.”
She added:
“I was happy to score my first goal of the season against Rines ss WFC, and I’m ready to work even harder to score more goals in the upcoming games so that we can defend our trophy. I call upon all our fans to come and support us — we shall do all that we can to make you proud.”
The Queens currently sit second on the table with seven points from three games, boasting the league’s top scorer, Kamiyati Naigaga, who has four goals in three matches.
With confidence high and spirits strong, the Queens will be looking to close October on a high note — and secure another three points away from home.
